About Victor Chavez
Victor was born in Las Vegas, NV but considers himself a native of Austin, TX and has always demonstrated leadership and tenacity. During his time at Westwood High School, he excelled as a leader on the Varsity soccer team, culminating a successful 13-year soccer career. Victor is a serial entrepreneur who launched his first business—a neighborhood trashcan service—at age 9, successfully operating it for seven years before transferring ownership to another young entrepreneur. During the COVID pandemic, he co-founded a mobile detailing business that turned a profit in its first week. These early ventures sharpened his instincts for building systems, understanding customer needs, and scaling small businesses with grit and urgency.
Background and Experience
At Topaz, Victor plays a key leadership role in two critical areas: sales hiring and team management. He leads the screening, onboarding, and coaching of top-tier sales consultants, ensuring each hire is aligned with our client-first values and capable of delivering transformational results.
In addition to driving our sales hiring process, Victor now manages the Topaz Sales Consultants directly. He mentors them in the Buyer Facilitator philosophy, provides performance feedback, and ensures accountability to client outcomes. His entrepreneurial background, combined with a fierce commitment to growth and impact, makes him a core driver of Topaz’s success.
Favorite Aspects of the Job
Victor loves knowing that his efforts make a tangible difference. He finds deep satisfaction in helping clients find and hire the right sales talent, but even more so now in guiding and supporting the Topaz Sales Consultants as they grow in their roles. He thrives on mentoring the team, building their confidence, and seeing them deliver real results for the clients they serve. Whether he’s screening a new candidate or coaching a consultant through a challenge, Victor stays focused on one goal, helping people succeed.

Victor enjoys spending time with friends, attending music festivals, and sharing his curated music playlists. He has set an ambitious goal to climb all the 14ers in Colorado (there are 58). Victor loves to travel, especially to destinations rich in history and culture. Bowling is another favorite pastime, offering a fun and competitive way to unwind.
